Level 1 – 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Begins Friday, September 10, 2010
Are you seeking a path to bring meaning, vitality and inner joy into your daily life? Do you want to change lives by making yoga accessible to others? If so, then Ananda Yoga teacher training may be just right for you. This weekend program is designed for students wanting to deepen their practice and knowledge, students who would like to become teachers, and teachers wishing to broaden their teaching skills. Rather than focusing only on the physical body, Ananda Yoga harnesses the subtle energy of each asana, channeling it inward and upward. As an Ananda Yoga teacher, you will experience and share the higher states of awareness attainable through each asana.
We will learn the classic Hatha Yoga postures (asanas) with a focus on subtler aspects such as:
- breath awareness (pranayam)
- prana (energy) in the spine and chakras
- affirmations
- safe yoga practice
- modifications
- 8-Fold Path
- spiritual awakening
- and much more!
“I now know why I had to take this class. The knowledge I have gained - not only about yoga - is priceless.”
- L.B., AYTT Graduate
“Great Course! The best in Seattle. No doubt about it!”

- J.M., AYTT Graduate
